Integro announced the hiring of two principals to serve in its San Francisco office. John M. Orr has been appointed principal, Executive Solutions, and Brian Mercer has accepted the position of principal, Alternative Risk Solutions.
Orr has 15 years experience representing corporate and insurer clients, most recently serving as senior vice president, Marsh Financial & Professional Risk Practice. Prior to joining Marsh in 2000, he was an attorney and partner with the national law firm of Arter & Hadden.
Mercer has 13 years experience in risk finance and quantitative analysis, most recently holding the position of vice president, Alternative Risk Solutions for Marsh’s San Francisco office. Before joining Marsh in 1996, he served as actuarial analyst, Casualty Risk Management for Watson Wyatt Worldwide.
“Our goal is to create the definitive insurance team, and John and Brian fit perfectly into that strategy,” said Marc Kunney, managing principal and head of Integro’s San Francisco office. “Our client base will benefit significantly from John’s experience as a senior advisor for a D&O coverage law firm, as well as Brian’s skill at developing customized solutions for hard-to-insure risks.”
