The California-based Latin American Agents Association has awarded
Birmingham, Ala.-based Infinity Property and Casualty Corp. its “Auto Market of the Year.” This was the second time in five years that Infinity has been chosen for the award. All personal auto insurance carriers operating through independent brokers and agents in California are eligible for the honor. In 2004, Infinity was honored with the Latin American Agents Association’s “Community Advocate of the Year” award.
Infinity focuses on “nonstandard” auto insurance, or those policies for which risks are generally higher. The company’s products are offered through a network of about 14,000 independent agencies.
