Meadowbrook Insurance Group Inc. has hired the team of insurance professionals from Nevada CompFirst Inc. and Med West Inc. of Nevada to strengthen its presence in Nevada’s self-insured workers’ compensation market.
NCF and Med West are led by Leslie Bell. As president of the Nevada Self Insurance Association, Bell has worked on both legislative and regulatory issues. The 25 employees of the two operations join Meadowbrook as associates immediately.
NCF is a Nevada-based third-party administrator which specializes in workers’ comp claims services for self-insured groups and individual self-insured programs throughout \Nevada. Med West manages a preferred provider organization (PPO), provides nurse case management and medical bill re-pricing services. NCF and Med West have offices in Reno and Las Vegas.
