Crawford & Co. Recognized by Insurance Education Association

Crawford & Co.’s Fresno, Calif., Integrated Services branch has been awarded the Roger Smith Award for Excellence in Education from the Insurance Education Association (IEA). The award will be presented at the San Francisco National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) spring luncheon on May 25, 2006.

Award winners are judged according to the following criteria:
*Is a recognized, high profile leader in the insurance or financial
services arena;

*Demonstrates a consistent commitment to the training and development of its staff;

*Supports education through grants, partnerships, board memberships, community activity, and/or other tangible indications of such support; and

*Has made a significant contribution in insurance or related fields in
education, research, legislation or IEA development.

“Since consolidating our Los Angeles and Sacramento offices in Fresno in 2003, our employees have shown a strong willingness to dedicate their time and energy to continuing their education,” said Rod Bramasco, assistant manager of California Compliance, Crawford’s Fresno Service Center.

“Together with IEA’s help we have had considerable success in getting staff to complete their IEA Workers’ Compensation Claims Associate (WCCA) certification and many have either completed or are close to completing their advanced Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional (WCCP) designation.”

“I am so proud of the Fresno branch and we are honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Bob Kulbick, president, Crawford Integrated Services. “This affirms that Crawford is dedicated to the development and training of our associates.”
