Frazier Elected President of Personal Insurance Federation of California

Rex D. Frazier has been elected president Personal Insurance Federation of California (PIFC). He has served as vice president and general counsel since April, 2005. He replaces former PIFC President Dan Dunmoyer, who left PIFC to become deputy chief of staff for policy development for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Prior to joining PIFC, Frazier was an attorney in private practice with the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, focusing on insurance and banking issues. He also held positions with the California Department of Insurance (CDI), including serving as deputy insurance commissioner, policy and research. At the CDI, Frazier was responsible for supervising the department’s Legislative, Policy Research and Statistical Analysis Bureaus which, together, comprised the policy development function of the CDI. He also previously served as legislative staff in the California State Assembly.
