M.J. Hall and Co. Inc., a general agent and surplus lines wholesaler, has a new residential homebuilders program. The new homebuilders general liability program is for custom and tract general contractors in Arizona and California. With the program, the builder must agree to provide a new home warranty to all home buyers. Coverage is available for an annual CGL, project specific policies, and wraps (including town homes – fee simple projects). Builders Risk is available in Arizona (including inventory and leased back model homes). Excess liability is also available. M.J. Hall and Co. Inc. also offers contractor’s coverage with admitted and non-admitted carriers for most artisan contractors, as well as, commercial general contractors (including paper contractors). Non-admitted markets are available for service and repair and/or remodel of single family dwellings.
Minimum premium for primary general liability is $5,000 in Arizona and $10,000 in California.
Coverage is provided by an “A-” VIII rated, admitted carrier. The program is available in Arizona and California.
