San Diego-based Golden Eagle Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, has expanded its Inland Marine coverage through new upgrades to Commercial IQ, the company’s web-based application for commercial lines.
Commercial IQ now allows agents to write new business Inland Marine coverages as a stand-alone line of business or as part of a package. The introduction of automated rating in Commercial IQ for most inland marine coverages means agents receive a more detailed underwriting review and quicker decisions on acceptable risks with less manual data entry, the company said.
The Commercial IQ enhancements now support as many as 20 inland marine coverages, most of which can be customized to fit customers’ requirements. Those coverages include: accounts receivable, bailees customer-dry cleaners floater, builders risk, commercial computer, commercial article floater, contractors equipment, fine arts floater, installation floater, miscellaneous/scheduled property floater, patterns and dies floater, sales representatives floater, sign, small tool floater, and valuable papers.
Over the next few months, Golden Eagle will also enhance inland marine electronic recordkeeping capabilities, making correspondence and attachments a permanent part of applications. Agents will also have the ability to submit schedules in PDF format and will be able to communicate with underwriters through Commercial IQ.
