Infinity Insurance Companies based in Cerritos, Calif., is accepting applications for its third annual Infinity Cares Agent/Broker Award (formerly known as the Confianza Award) to recognize independent brokers and agents in California for their commitment to communities. The award encourages principals and staff of agencies/brokerages.
A selection committee will review all applications and will identify one individual to be recognized on June 16th at the Latin American Agents Association Convention in Long Beach, Calif. As part of the award, Infinity will donate $2,000 to the charity organization supported by the individual selected.
The Infinity Cares Award was designed to support agents and brokers who volunteer their time to organizations that enhance education, cultural and other needs identified in their local communities. Last year’s Award went to Sharron Varga from Action Shoppe Insurance in Pomona, Calif., for her involvement with the Pomona Valley Workshop, a program that supports individuals with developmental disabilities by providing vocational training and assistance in finding employment.
To qualify, a person must currently work a minimum of 20 hours in an independent agency or brokerage. The agency or brokerage does not need to be appointed with Infinity to qualify and isl not a determining factor in the selection process. The charity organization must be a registered non-profit [501(c) (3)] organization and show a history of giving. The recipient must be able to receive the recognition at the LAAA Convention on June 16.
Applications must be submitted by June 8 to be considered. For more information, contact Senaida Benitez at 562-274-4107 or senaida.benitez@ipacc.com.
