Ace USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the Ace Group of Companies, announced that Brian Witzmann has been appointed senior vice president and regional executive officer for Ace USA’s Northwest Region, and Stephen Dennison has been named client executive.
Based in San Francisco, Witzmann will be responsible for setting and driving the overall strategic direction for Ace USA’s Northwest Region, which comprises northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and Alaska. He also will oversee the regional production plan, distribution, product sales and marketing, producer management and general operations.
Witzmann joins ACE from American International Group, where he most recently served as senior vice president and excess casualty national real estate and financial institutions practice leader. He has close to 25 years of industry experience, including San Francisco-based management, business development and underwriting positions with Royal & Sun Alliance, Munich-American RiskPartners and Marsh & McLennan.
Dennison, who previously served as Northwest regional executive officer, joined Ace in 1993 and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, including extensive experience managing property and casualty insurance operations and client relationships at the branch, regional and home office levels. The Client Executive initiative assigns senior-level Ace executives to designated clients to provide enhanced service, the company said.
