Joe Jimenez, president of the Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers in California, has announced that the association is offering to assist anyone in the insurance industry who has been impacted by the numerous wildfires raging throughout Southern California.
“We have a tremendous network of caring, giving members and staff who are willing to lend a hand,” Jimenez said. “If there are people and pets who need a place to stay … if any businesses have been affected…if anyone needs assistance in getting through this crisis in any way, we are there to help.”
Jimenez said the Alliance has established a fund that members may contribute toward. The fund will be earmarked to the American Red Cross to assist in their recovery efforts. “Those interested in donating to the Alliance’s Red Cross fund are encouraged to contact the Alliance headquarters at 866-497-9222.”
In addition, the Alliance has formed a response team that is available for those who need assistance. To find Alliance members willing to assist in any recovery effort or housing needs, and if you are willing to offer your support to those in need, contact Alliance Executive Director David Nielson at 866-497-9222 or david@agentsalliance.com. If anyone needs assistance from the Red Cross, call 800-HELP NOW or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish).
