San Francisco-based Cambridge General Agency has improved its exercise and health club program.
The premium for Swimming Pools has been reduced along with the programs minimum premium. In addition to those reductions a 35 percent credit for risks with no exercise equipment may be available.
The following exposures are now included in the rates: childcare operations, club members as additional insured, open 24 hours acceptable, professional liability for insured and employees, racquet ball, tennis courts: up to four courts – refer over four, sexual or physical abuse coverage: $25,000 per claim/$50,000 aggregate, incidental sale of food or drinks, tanning, toning or hydro massage beds: up to four beds – refer over four.
Personal trainer policies are now available on a stand alone basis.
Independent contractors such as certified trainers and masseuses can be added for a small fee.
