Ryan Stringham of The Buckner Co. has been named Young Agent of the Year by the Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents.
Stringham started his career with The Buckner Co. in 2002. While working full time for the company, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Utah. This August, he will earn his master’s degree in Business Administration. He serves as President of the Salt Lake board of the Association of Independent Insurance Agents.
According to Marilee Wilson, president of the UAIIA, the Young Agent award is given to an agent must be under the age of 40, or in the insurance industry less than 10 years. Candidates are chosen based on nominations that are sent to the UAIIA awards committee.
