Menlo Park, Calif.-based property and casualty insurer Pacific Specialty Insurance Company (PSIC) promoted Robert Large to vice president of product development and William Guthrie to the vice president of information technology.
After eight years with PSIC, Large will now assume responsibility for all areas of product development, regulatory affairs, licensing and expansion activities for The McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies. Prior to this appointment, he was the assistant vice president of the company’s Property Products Division. Prior to joining PSIC, Large served as a principle liaison to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners for the California Department of Insurance.
Guthrie joins the company’s MIS Department, in the newly-created position of vice president of information technology. He will oversee all areas of technology, including the maintenance and development of core processing systems, corporate networks and internet-related initiatives. This appointment is the latest step in a career spanning more than 18 years with PSIC. Most recently, Guthrie was the vice president of product development.
PSIC is the flagship of the McGraw Group of Affiliated Companies.
