Sterling Grant & Associates has hired Timothy Zehring to the new position of risk manager in Phoenix. Zehring, a former Mesa, Ariz., police officer and founder of the International Crime Free Association, is spearheading Sterling Grant’s new product, “Sterling Crime Free,” which offers crime prevention solutions and insurance savings for businesses.
Zehring, is regarded as an expert in premises liability and risk management for all Crime Free programs. He retired from Arizona’s Mesa Police Department in April 2008 after 22 years of service. Since 1986, he has conducted training on virtually every crime prevention topic offered by the police department. Outside of his new position at Sterling Grant, Zehring provides expert witness services and regularly consults local, county, state, provincial and federal law enforcement agencies. Due to his background in crime prevention and safety, he frequently appears in the news as an expert on crime.
