USG Holdings has launched AAU Comp, a new subsidiary headquartered in El Segundo, Calif., to offer workers’ compensation coverage and programs on a national basis.
AAU Comp expects its book of business to include retail and wholesale operations, the staffing industry, auto repair and affiliated services, trucking and fleet exposures, light to heavy construction risks, manufacturing, oil and gas, hotels, grocery stores, machine shops, restaurants, golf courses, wineries, and other classifications. AAU Comp can create custom workers’ comp programs as well as launch products for individual risks.
Chuck Holdren, president of AAU Comp, said the company is actively seeking comp program opportunities and individual accounts beginning with August effective dates.
AAU is a program manager and currently offers personal lines insurance for high valued homeowners, vacant homes, fine arts collections, antique/collectors cars, and more.
