IMA Foundation Names Rohs VP of Corp. Communications

Denver-based The IMA Financial Group Inc., a diversified financial services company, announced that Ruth Rohs joined the company as vice president of corporate communications and executive director of the IMA Foundation. She will direct IMA’s strategic communications functions including branding, public relations, community relations, social media and marketing. She also will guide IMA’s giving.

For more than 30 years, the Foundation has focused on giving to nonprofit organizations that reflect the company’s core values. Rohs will direct the Foundation’s grant making strategies in areas that promote health and wellness, advance youth, enhance economic vitality and support arts and culture.

Prior to joining IMA, Rohs was manager of community relations for Comcast Mile High Region. She has a strong business and nonprofit background having worked at organizations including the Public Education & Business Coalition, Colorado Association of Commerce & Industry, The Children’s Museum of Denver and StorageTek. She has extensive community relations experience focused on community engagement, corporate charitable giving, sponsorships and diversity programs.

Rohs currently serves on the board of the American Red Cross Mile High Chapter. Previously, she served on the Board of the Junior League of Denver for five years and was the co-founder of the Mardi Gras Krewe de Colorado, a nonprofit organization supporting the Denver Children’s Home.
