I don’t understand why you are allowed to keep a license after the second DUI. I get that mistakes happen, but at some point doesn’t the individual become accountable for repeated bad decisions? Am I missing something?

Unfortunately pulling the license usually results in a drunk driver driving without a license or insurance. It is too bad that the only way to keep some people off the road is to put them in jail.

Agreed. Pulling a license does nothing. What they should do is bar the ownership, rental, registration of ANY motorized vehicle. Anyone found assisting their access to a vehicle should also then be pursued for a crime.
