Brian Modesitt joined Two Sigma in April 2013 to help lead the company's entry into insurance business, culminating in the formation of Insurance Quantified in 2017. Brian has over 20 years of experience of innovation in financial services, with a particular focus on the insurance industry. He has co-founded or provided the first institutional capital to over a dozen companies and has served on the board of directors of many of these companies. Prior to Insurance Quantified and Two Sigma, Brian served as Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Services at Vestar Capital Partners. Previous work experience includes TCW/Crescent Mezzanine and Morgan Stanley. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College, an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Fulbright Scholar
