This guy is a disgrace. He is a climate change denier, and a “free market” acolyte. He isn’t against this because it may force companies to make risky investments–an absurd claim–he is against it because government exists, and has any power.
If you are a climate change denier, of course you are going to say coal is great, because you are ignoring all the externalities, and getting a free ride at the expense, and harm, of others.
Why is an insurance commissioner acting as an investment counselor. This should be grounds for his removal.
