Position Summary
We are looking for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to serve as our Controller. This position will play a critical role in the financial health of ERA, overseeing all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, managing cash flow, and supporting our growth strategy through diligent financial oversight and reporting.

This position will play a critical role in the financial health of ERA, overseeing all day-to-day accounting and finance operations, managing cash flow, and supporting our growth strategy through diligent financial oversight and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and perform all bookkeeping and accounting functions using NetSuite
- Oversee reconciliation of monthly agency commissions from carriers and wholesalers
- Supervise collections of receivables and manage timely payment of payables
- Lead the agency billing process across all ERA business divisions
- Support the financial due diligence process during prospective acquisitions
- Assist with financial onboarding and integration of newly acquired agencies
- Maintain strong cash management practices to ensure liquidity and growth stability
- Prepare financial projections and develop annual operating budgets
- Serve as the main liaison with external accountants for tax filings and audits
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university
- MUST have minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles within a property/casualty insurance agency
- Proficient in NetSuite
accounting software - Strong organizational, communication,
and analytical skills - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Experience in insurance agency acquisitions a plus
