Job Description
This role will play a critical part in driving digital transformation within the Claims organization by partnering closely with business, technology, and user experience teams to design and deliver innovative solutions. As a Business Architect, you will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technology, translating operational needs into scalable digital capabilities that enhance the claims experience for customers and repair partners.
You will help identify opportunities for improvement, define future-state solutions, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, thinks strategically, and collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams to drive meaningful change.
Candidates hired at the Manager level may also provide leadership and mentorship to other business architects or analysts while helping shape broader digital product strategy.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 100,000.00 - 170,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand current claims business processes, goals, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for digital transformation and improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable product and technical requirements.
- Lead discovery efforts to evaluate current processes and define future-state digital capabilities, including AI-assisted and web-based solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional system flows, capability models, and technical specifications to guide solution development.
- Partner with product managers, UX designers, and technology teams to design, prioritize, and deliver digital products and capabilities.
- Drive alignment across stakeholders and ensure initiatives support broader platform strategies and organizational goals.
- Use customer feedback, operational insights, and data analysis to inform product decisions and continuously improve solutions.
- Lead test-and-learn discovery activities to validate assumptions and accelerate solution development.
- Develop and maintain business architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and documentation that support scalable solutions.
- Establish and monitor data-driven metrics and outcome-based measures to track the success and impact of initiatives.
- Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business architecture, digital product, product management, or business analysis roles.
- Experience partnering with technology teams to deliver digital products or platforms (web, mobile, or customer-facing solutions).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements or product capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
- Familiarity with data and analytics tools such as Excel or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience working with collaboration and design tools such as Mural is beneficial.
- Curiosity and interest in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, preferred.
