Integro Insurance Brokers has hired Michael McCarroll as senior vice president in the firm’s Woodland Hills, Calif., office.

McCarroll will focus on developing new opportunities within the property/casualty, benefits and entertainment sectors.

McCarroll joins Integro from Willis. He was previously co-founder and vice president in commercial lines for U.S. Private Insurance Group. He was a commercial lines director at Bennett & Carroll before that.

His experience includes assisting clients in sectors including retail, hospitality, real estate, technology, life sciences, alternative energy, financial institutions, agriculture aviation and entertainment.

Integro is an international insurance brokerage and risk management firm.

LP Insurance Services Inc. has named John Bolce regional manager overseeing the sales team, productivity, development and growth of the Phoenix, Ariz., and Sacramento, Calif., locations.

He is a member of the LP Insurance Services board of directors and vice president.

Bolce has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience specializing in construction risk.

In 2001, he joined of Lucini/Parish Insurance, which was acquired by Well Fargo in 2007. While at Wells Fargo Insurance Services, he was the construction practice leader.

In 2012, he became a principal and shareholder at LP Insurance Services.

Reno, Nev.-based LP Insurance Services is a risk services and insurance brokerage firm.

Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. has named Jeanna Madlener vice president, account executive/producer at the firm’s Oregon property/casualty practice.

Madlener specializes in risk management and coverage placement for mid-sized to large U.S. companies.

Madlener was a senior sales executive in the property/casualty group at Wells Fargo Insurance prior to joining Woodruff-Sawyer. She spent more than two years as a relationship manager at Aon before that.

Woodruff-Sawyer has named Nikki Brissette an account executive and vice president in its Hawaii-based operations, Risk Solution Partners.

Brissette will be responsible for client relationships, designing risk management programs, recruitment and business and product development.

Prior to joining RSP, Brissette was vice president at King & Neel, which provides insurance services for construction and commercial clients.

San Francisco, Calif.-based Woodruff-Sawyer has offices throughout California, and in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Hawaii and New England.

HUB International of California has named Adam Caster an account executive and producer in its La Palma office.

Caster reports to Steve Vicencia, executive vice president of Hub International Insurance Services Inc.

Caster previously worked for Humana as a sales specialist after graduating from college. He was most recently a producer with Brown & Brown.

Chicago, Ill.-based Hub provides property/casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services.

California Gov. Jerry Brown has named Katherine Zalewski chair on the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.

Zalewski served on the board since her appointment by Brown in 2014. Prior to her appointment, she joined the Department of Industrial Relations as a workers’ comp administrative law judge and advisor to the Division of Workers’ Compensation from 2009 to 2011. She was DIR chief counsel from 2012 to 2014.

Prior to state service, she was senior associate at Schmit Law Office from 2000 to 2009, manager and attorney at Pacific Coast Services from 1998 to 2000, and worked at Express Network and Direct Legal Support Services from 1993 to 1998.

AXIS Insurance has named Christina Tom a vice president and renewable energy underwriter. She will be based out of AXIS’ San Francisco office

Tom joins AXIS Insurance’s global renewable energy team, where she will be responsible for leading its U.S. West Coast business, underwriting wind, solar and energy storage risks. She will report to Tom Cain, vice president and head of U.S. renewable energy for AXIS Insurance.

Tom has nearly 15 years of insurance industry experience. She was vice president of inland marine at Aspen Insurance for the last five years. Tom was a senior underwriter for OneBeacon before that.

She began her specialty insurance career in 2003 as a commercial insurance underwriter at Chubb.
