    If the report is accurate and Silverstein did in-fact have the noted conversation with a friend (re: projected insurance company difficulties) … How could that be a surprise? Passenger jets flown by terrorist(s) intentionally into 2 of the largest buildings in the world; thereby causing multiple buildings to collapse and cause incredible property damage and bodily injury … With resulting damages which obviously had never been seen before. In fact, Chubb (leading the pack) and several other insurance companies offered to step-up on the losses almost immediately — thereby eliminating additional angst and uncertainty for many, many affected people and companies.

    A useless article. The “meat” of the article is “a friend warned me I’d have trouble with insurers”. Who was the friend? Why did he feel as he did? What possible bearing could that “warning” have to do with how coverage was placed? Does anyone really care what a nameless friend, with unreferendced credentials had to say?
