One of the names listed in this story approached me several years ago when I was Marketing Rep for a Med Mal Carrier. She wanted to place some “difficult” doctors with my carrier. When I questioned her about her agency, she indicated that the principals had to remain “unnamed” because they didn’t want anyone finding out details about their agency. Of course, I didn’t do business with her. The whole group seems to be experienced in the rip-off business.

Does anyone know the names of people managing these various entities?
Were they doing business in any other states?

    Mark:

Do a google search of “Unimed Insurance Company”, including quotation marks. At least 10 states have issued on them so far.

You will also find a list of the managers and employees in the google listings.
