The article addresses some very interesting points. Insurance agents typically provide the company that is best for the consumer as a matter of doing business. I have never heard of the direct writers like Geico, eSurance or 21st providing 3 quotes like a brick and mortar insurance agency has to do.
It seems like this law (if it passes) will reduce the burden on the inpependent agent as things are tough enough competing with direct writing companies that dont have any homes in NJ or business offices where they actually help our economy by contributing taxes.
