This is great news, and is the result of a lot of hard work by IIABNH, PIANH, HBRANH, and the grass-roots efforts of individual insurance agents, contractors, and legislators. However, we can’t celebrate or relax yet – this is only an acknowledgement of the problem and an announcement of the initiative to correct it. We need to stay prepared for the efforts of special interests (unions) that will oppose the fix, and stay focused on the task at hand until the vote actually occurs.
