At first glance I thught this was going to be an article about NYS “forgetting” aboutt he hiring freeze and giving away a lucrative post to a former governmental official even though he had been “re-tried” for miscellaneous run-ins with the law.
Until I read the article and realized that the only thing I was wrong on concerned his prior criminal behavior.
Maybe the IJ editor just had a moment of forward-looking deja vu? Maybe he will be found corrupt as respects being paid off with a cushy job.
Community Affairs. What a lard butt. And I bet he will get a whole host of non-pay benefits.
Actually the person who posts the articles is just an intern. Shes posted in the comments section a few times. I guess she is really busy taking college classes and stuff.
Hopefully she checks her homework more closely than her articles for IJ!
Can nobody proof-read? “Retried” or “Retired”?

Thanks for the insight Mike.
College student, eh? Hope she doesn’t plan on cooking refired beans in the dorm tonight. Might set the place on fire.
Or, maybe not.
