New York OKs Online Course for Defensive Driving

    I don’t agree with using this course for the Insurance Discount because there is no proof that the person getting the discount is the one who took the course. I mean I could have a friend take the course for me while I am at work or something. Also I would advise Agents to check with their individual carriers if they are approving this type of course as most of them have yet to do so.

    The New York DMV has taken several steps to ensure the participant ID is verified. These safeguards are similar to the ones used in banks and by the government.

    yea…… cuz a friend is really gonna do that and not reep the benefits you clown. if my friend asked me to do that id roll over laughing. dumb broad

    As Steve mentioned is absolutely correct..New York State DMV has taken many steps to ensure that course registrant verification during the course.
