My bother in Rochester Vermont states: There is no way out of town. The bridges to the South and North on scenic Rt. 100 are down, so is the bridge to the east on the connecting mountain road. The power plant is flooded and is out of service. Due to the tight valley, and the flooded areas along the river there are no places to land a helicopter for emergency crews or food services. Some poeple that were told to evacuate, had left town and are now unable to get back to their homes. Worst flooding in 100 year or more.
