It really should be mandatory that parents be given a tranquilizer before they are allowed to watch their kid play sports.

I think it would be a lot of fun to watch these soccer moms and dads play instead of the kids. Go get rid of your aggressive behavior on the field instead of on your fat behinds “cheering” on your litle wonders.

Gives the kids something to laugh about, and increases revenues for the medical community.

Reality Bites: A soccer association for which I used to coach did that several years ago. Not only shut the parents up when they saw how hard it was to do some of the things they were screaming at their kids to do, it also turned into a weekly fun pick-up game for the parents, friends and the kids. Still going on.

And it did increase the revenue for the medical community when I tore my ACL and meniscus.

Well–I’m sure we’ve all seen DANCE MOMS…trust me as a former sports trainer and coach–private practices would have been a blessing….

I refuse to head coach any of my childrens sports for just this reason. I like assistant coaching better, help the kids, not much heat from crazy parents.

This is actually a sad story. Either the child involved is going to be so embarrassed by the parents bad acts that they end up dropping out of the activity or they themselves get so egotistical, by following the parents example, the bad acts continue and grow.
