We ain’t the large public held brokerages that caused the problems with large clients getting ripped off! The current disclosure regulation does nothing for ‘transparency’ with the average Joe who’s lucky to be able to pay his auto & home & health and life premiums and is happy to get some help from a licensed agent or broker who shops around for him and to try and retain some business that the direct writers quote without apples-to-apples comparisons and without any repercussions for that unprofessional way of doing business.
