Do NOT sign up with Allstate. They will ruin your life. Their recruiters will tell you you can expect $200,000 – $250,000 in the first two years. A complete lie unless you have a 5 million agency. I wish 60 Minutes would air a story on the recruiting practices of insurance companies. Allstate, State Farm, Nationwide and Farmers are all guilty as well. I don’t know how some of the recruiters and sales managers sleep at night.

In Connecticut, my Allstate friends have not been able to write an Allstate homeoners policy in at least 7 years. Good luck with that!
