So my grandma will be fined if I don’t shovel out my sidewalk AND hers within 8 daylight hours from when the storm ends? And if I own a business too, now I have to shovel out 3 different locations within 8 hours?
1) What source will be used to define when the storm ends?
2) Will it differ by city or county depending on how big the storm was?
3) What happens if it’s a 3-unit building – who gets fined then?
I believe this law needed better clarification before it was passed.
Should be plenty of Mexicans and OTM to do this now.
Bet they wait until they are snowed in & assess the fines because the sidewalks aren’t shoveled….Wait this is DC, right? LOTS of shoveling going on!
