Let me see if I understand this. The union wants to add another dues paying member to the locomotive. Chuck Schumer endorces this “at least untill the speed saftey is installed” Will they hire additional personel or just put a second over worked dues paying member in the locomotive. Once again I say if Amtrack is a business that can cut a profit then they don’t need government handouts. If not and they run in the red every year, let them raise the price of the ticket or sell the R R to someone who can, as they say, run the railroad. It is high time that the taxpayer be given a break and stop funding this loosing business.
