Hi FFA. The left will just say it is another reason why we need Universal Health Care with total government control.

By the way, Brandon Weeden found out why he is not a starting quarterback in the NFL. 9th straight loss as a starter, no clue what to do in the second half, no rallying the troops in the fourth quarter like Romo has done repeatedly. Time to get Casell off the bench and work him in. If Weeden started the next 5 games, the team is sure to be 2-6.

Hey Ron, you should now vote for Trump. He came out with his tax proposals today. You are now safe from paying any taxes in the future.
          1. An individual making $25,000 or less pays no taxes. A couple making $50,000 or less pay no taxes.
          2. Corporate taxes to be reduced from 35% to 15%.
          3. Individual Rates for high earners from 39.6% to 25% and cut out the loopholes for the super rich.
          4. Simplified tax brackets from 7 to 4.
          5. For all that money moved offshore in recent years, if it is brought back for investment, a one time 10% tax.

Of course, we need to restore discipline at the Federal Government and eliminate a lot of useless programs and waste and pork. That is why Trump resonates. Enough political double talk. It is time to create some jobs and get the economy off the idiocy of 1-2% growth and into a robust 4-5% growth and there will be plenty of revenue to pay the bills without borrowing from China and creating more debt.

            Agent,

I am not safe. Obviously you are making a false assumption regarding my income.

He wants to increase my taxes so his and yours can be reduced. Just another wealth redistribution scheme.

As I have said before, I have no problem paying taxes as long as you have no problem with money being taken out of the private sector and handed over to the government.

His proposal will reduce revenues by ~$700 Billion per year. There is not that much waste, loopholes and projected growth to make up that difference. His proposal will increase the debt and annual deficits, period.

Do you honestly believe Congress will reduce spending by that much? You do realize the president controls very little of the annual spending, right? And you call me naive.

          He hasn’t forgotten about them.

And the wording you do there is hilarious, considering you’re in insurance.

          Study more.

No actual moderate in the insurance world wants Universal Health Care, administered by private companies. This is a slogan that was used by some who compared the Canadian structure, which still has private doctors, paid by the government. It was mostly used in the political left, so I’m beginning to have my spidey senses tingle. Are you even in insurance, or is Agent right, and you’re a paid activist for the liberal left?

The government does remove money from every dollar received. It is debatable, but let’s say 10%.

Insurance companies do invest and pay out more than 1 dollar for every dollar received, grow the economy, grow capital, and everyone benefits.

The proper system is not a “universal” also known as “single payer” and it is not a moderate system the one you just mentioned. I have a fair level of confidence you’re talking about a single payer, given the way you worded it.

The proper system, well, was the one the republicans suggested. Go look it up, I’m not posting it for you again.

$5,000 medical debit for buying insurance for the poor.
A tax credit for those who buy insurance, instead of a subsidy. This makes it linked to work. That’s the most important part. So instead of receiving a subsidy based on how low of a potentially non existent income you have, it’s linked to a credit for working and a debit card for those without work.

          Best of the best.

            bob,

Universal Healthcare or Single Payer is the only program that is a solution for every complaint about health care, including the VA.

I know the Republican plan and I like some of their ideas. However, they do not address all of the issues in healthcare.

How does the Republican plan guarantee coverage for all citizens, allow complete freedom for anyone, including Veterans, to go to any doctor, hospital, clinic, lab, etc. without having to worry about being in-network, eliminate co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance, alleviate employers from having to offer medical insurance as a benefit to attract talent or expand hiring, allow people to retire early (instead of waiting to qualify for Medicare) and open more positions for young people looking for jobs and others looking for promotions, eliminate hospitals from either chasing people down who came into the emergency room without coverage or just writing it off as a loss, and take advantage of cost savings by purchasing prescriptions in bulk? That is the Best of the Best.

Do you honestly think the working poor, those who do not qualify for Medicaid, can afford decent insurance that costs ~10-12,000 per year for a family with $5,000? How do they come up with the additional $5-7,000 when they are living paycheck-to-paycheck without any insurance?

Bob, you may have hit on something that I hadn’t thought of before saying Ron may be a paid activist for the left. We know he voted for Obama twice so that makes sense. He couldn’t possibly be in our industry or he would have been more on our side for the past 5 years. He is just a big government, single payer advocate who really likes that Progressive Tax code which guarantees him that he will not pay any federal income tax at the expense of soaking the better off in our society. He is so inept that he doesn’t even realize that Trump is helping out the lower and middle class and business, all at the same time. God forbid that we make the system fair and actually stimulate the economy and create some jobs and more actual taxpayers.

Bob, we have been hammering away at Ron for several years now on his misunderstanding of how Capitalism is the best engine of economic growth the world has ever seen. He still prefers Socialism, give a ways and all the other bad things it generates because he is a true believer. There is nothing moderate in his views.

Every industrialized country in the world has a universal healthcare system, and every single one of them pay half as much than we do for it. Given this fact, why do you continue to defend our for-profit system? Why advocate for a system where we pay more money to get the same service? I could understand if the US had substantially better outcomes, but we don’t. In study after study, the US has been shown to lag behind our peers in healthcare outcomes.

So why keep throwing good money after bad? The results of this for-profit healthcare system experiment are in. We pay twice as much for it and even the most optimistic massaging of the data shows that our outcomes are no better.

Be a rational consumer. Let’s say you get a craving for some Doritos while thumbing through the weekly ads for local grocery stores. You see the ad for Aldi advertising Doritos for $3.50 per bag. You bought the same size bag of Doritos at Whole Foods just yesterday for $7.00. You check the pantry and notice it’s gone already. The kids or the wife must have gotten to it. Are you going to go buy a bag of Doritos at Whole Foods again, or are you going to go down to Aldi and pay half as much for the same product?

you know agent, if a veteran quarterback who has started games in the NFL cannot beat out a rookie for the starting job, there is something wrong with that picture. There is a reason why a player is expendable and either is cut or traded for a low round draft choice.

Ineptitude is ineptitude. You, of all people should understand that. Weeden has had two years to get the plays down now. He looked every bit as confused as a rookie just drafted. In fact, the practice squad quarterback had a better command of the offense in pre-season. He can also run and extend plays when the protection breaks down. If not Cassel, put the rookie in. They are going nowhere with Weeden.

Rosenblatt, word parsing is a bad trait. There is no place for it on this site. If you have valid points to make, make them. Your only contribution to this blog is to demean someone else and condemn them. How about you making an argument on why you like Single Payer like Ron does or do you not believe as he does? There is a reason why QBs like Trent Dilfer, Doug Williams, Jeff Hostetler, Brad Johnson, and Eli Manning have won Super Bowls and Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon, Tony Romo and Donovan McNabb have not. Teams win and loss games, including Super Bowls, not QBs.

Just curious which was a bigger expense. The PPACA or 2 unnecessary wars. Also, how many lives were lost and/or affected by those wars? That’s what real mistakes look like. The mistake of the PPACA was the failure to incorporate at least a public option. Also, why would a Democratic President think he can take the Heritage Foundation’s answer to Hillarycare and make it popular with the party who was for it before they were against it? The Republican Party heads met at The Caucus Room Restaurant the night of President Obama’s inauguration and pledged to not only oppose our President at all costs, but to do all they could to make him a 1 term President.

We’re throwing away $1 trillion alone on the F-35 jet, and it lost in a dogfight against the F-16, a plane that was developed 40 years ago. And that’s just one program.

Are you ready to scrap our expensive, wasteful, socialist military and start paying private companies like Blackwater to provide for our national defense? After all, you don’t want no government controlling anything. The private sector is always better and more efficient, right?

Ron, please accept the following quote in the spirit given.

“Government has three primary functions. It should provide for the national defense of the nation. It should enforce contracts between individuals. It should protect citizens from crimes against themselves or their property. When government — in pursuit of good intentions tries to re-arrange the economy, legislate morality, or help special interest groups, the cost comes inefficiency, lack of motivation, and the loss of freedom. Government should be the referee, not an active player”. Milton Friedman

The Government you love so much has gotten way too big for their britches, try to regulate and run everything and do a very poor job of that and no wonder we run such huge deficits and it is so unresponsive to the needs of the people. And you want Single Payer Health! What a joke.

This may be the appropriate time to insert some facts about Forbes census of domestic migration that appeared in 10-14-15 Property Casualty 360 article. They listed cities where people move out from and cities people have been moving to for job opportunities, lower cost of living, recreation opportunities etc. Below are the cities listed.

Cities people are migrating “from” in descending order with #1 being the worst.
            10. Milwaukee, Wi
            9. Norfolk, Va
            8. Los Angeles, Ca
            7. Rochester, NY
            6. Memphis, Tn
            5. Cleveland, Oh
            4. Detroit, Mi
            3. Hartford, Ct
            2. Chicago, Il
            1. New York, NY – Over 500,000 have migrated away.

Cities people are migrating “to” in same order
            10. Dallas/Ft Worth
            9. Oklahoma City, Ok
            8. Houston, Tx
            7. Orlando, Fl
            6. Charlotte, NC
            5. Nashville, Tn
            4. Denver, Co
            3. San Antonio, Tx.
            2. Raleigh, NC
            1. Austin, Tx.

Gee, I wonder why people want to migrate away from mostly Blue States to go to mostly Red States in an effort to better themselves. Could it be taxation, regulation, cost of living, job opportunities?

If Agent doesn’t reply and accuses me of trying to change the subject in a future article, your assessment is valid; therefore, your post would not be a personal attack so much as it is a factual statement about Agent’s actions (or lack thereof) which can be supported by evidence.

The law should never have been written by Progressive Leftists to start with, putting in a number of mandates, fining/taxing people if they didn’t buy it, putting in no Tort Reform or promising/lying to people they could keep their plan if they liked it or saving the average family $2,500 per year on their premiums. This is the greatest hoax put over on the American people ever passed (purely partisan)and some people have the guts to say that if we had Universal Government Run Healthcare, it would solve all the problems. Agent,

I will ask you the same questions:

Are you advocating for federal regulation of health insurance? If not, please explain what you mean?

In addition, take some responsibility and admit when you are wrong.

Remember when you said, “Hey FFA, no doubt Rodgers is either 1 or 2 on the quarterback rankings. He shows it with every game. I wonder why he hasn’t won a Superbowl yet. Puzzling to say the least.”, even though he (the Packers) did win a Super Bowl in 2010?

Also, you falsely accused Rosenblatt of calling bob an “angry little man” even though it was BS who did and Rosenblatt was only holding BS accountable.

Actually Ron, we are advocating that Progressive Socialists have “no” say in designing the Healthcare of all Americans. They have made a big enough mess and the cost is staggering.

I have a policy and Health Republic still hasn’t notified me. Where did all the money go??? Doesn’t anybody look into that?? It sounds like it was a scam all along.
