    Seriously? Telemedicine? What a joke.

    Urgent/convenient care, I can see.

Doctor’s offices–are almost a thing of the past. Now to see my doc, I have to go to a convenient care first, before I rate seeing the actual doc for a follow up, if necessary. Assuming, of course, I don’t get sicker by going to convenient care, who may actually do nothing.

Real experience: Go to convenient care for a sinus infection. Get told it’s too soon to determine if it’s a sinus infection and that I should just rest, drink fluids, and then see my doc in a week.

Two days later I’m in urgent care with a massive sinus infection, acute bronchitis, and also pink eye, which I picked up from the convenient care place–because they don’t know how to decontaminate their freaking examination rooms.

    Yay, health insurance…

The so called “Doc in the Boxes” are springing up everywhere just like convenience stores. The ones I see are stocked with nurses, PA’s and foreign doctors willing to work for less. They no speak much English and a patient is lucky to get well from going there even for the minor stuff. Thank you Obamacare for ruining the Healthcare system.
