Ironically, the first name of one of the men is “Knowledge”. Of the four, only one has retained an attorney so far, so I’m guessing he’s the one seeking to make a plea deal and testify against the daughter (how was Mother’s Day?) and the other two “gangstas”.
“…charged in the killing of the woman’s mother for insurance money.”
How about getting rid of the passive voice: “charged with killing the woman’s mother for insurance money.”
