Nothing a property tax increase won’t take care of.

Wow, this is a new one. Perhaps cameras in the rest rooms to pick up people up to this mischief?

Nah, they have plenty of money to pay for this considering all the free labor they get from prisoners. Modern-day slavery at it’s finest.

I am somewhat confused by this article. The article states: “The inmate who flushed the suit has not been identified.” but the official is quoted in the next line that he will go after the responsible party. Typical politician, we have no idea who did it nor will we ever be able to prove it yet we are going to make them pay. Add to that the fact that the inmates in almost all cases have limited if no income so exactly how will he make the person pay if they are identified. What is the saying oh yah you cannot get blood out of a turnip.

Then as a result of the incident the county plans to put in high tech toilets with sensors so they will only flush once per hour. If the inmates care so little about the public good which we all know in most cases is true what makes them think for a moment that they will not destroy the high tech gadgets?

Why not go back to the not so good old days where the cells did not have facilities and the inmates used a bucket and had to carry there own waste to the appropriate spot for disposal.
