Markel Corporation has hired Beth Hungate-Noland as a managing director.
In this role, Hungate-Noland will join the team at Markel that is responsible for oversight of the company’s Markel Ventures operations and will be based out of Markel Corporation’s headquarters in Richmond, Va.
Hungate-Noland was most recently a partner in Williams Mullen’s corporate practice, where she spent 15 years serving clients with mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and corporate governance counseling.
Markel Corporation is a financial holding company serving a variety of niche markets. The company’s principal business markets and underwrites specialty insurance products. Through its subsidiary Markel Ventures, Markel makes investments in businesses that operate outside of the insurance marketplace.
