If the true objective of the court action is related to Climate Change, the State of Mass will eventually lose as there are ample lawyers working for Exxon to disprove the theory of man-caused Climate Change. The only remaining question in my mind is how high in the Court system will the appeals rise to end the litigation in favor of Exxon?
“the State of Mass will eventually lose”….not if Exxon themselves has papers/texts/memos saying they knew they were contributing to climate change and they willfully hid that information to make more money. You know…the actual contentions the case is claiming.
