And I ask . . . where should all that money have gone. Why did the catholic church collect this money? Is it tithes? Is this what their constituents want the money they donate to go to? I doubt it. $50 million could do so much more – if the church actually spent it on charitable work. Why do they have so much money “saved” and not used for good? the constituents are paying for the bad behavior of their leaders. and yet -they will probably donate / tithe this weekend, the church can save it to pay for more abuses – instead of opening a soup kitchen or doing charitable work.
