I am not surprised at all by this article. Bagnall Shaw Insurance in Lancaster, PA filed a very similiar complaint to the PA Department of Insurance in late 2019 alledging almost the exact same concerns in this article. They also alleged that Erie Insurance used discrimination tactics to target and punish minorities access to Erie services in minority areas there as well.
