Calling Pennsylvania a “State” is like calling San Francisco “Frisco.”
Pennsylvania is a Commonwealth.
Three other states are also Commonwealths: Massachusetts, Virginia and Kentucky.
On the other hand, there is a Frisco in Texas.
Geography 101 for today is now over.
:-) We former Pennsylvanians see things in different order, er, well its really chaos. Blame it on their elementary school teachers of 60 years ago who drummed it into us.
I was born and raised in MA. I don’t care that people call MA a state and not a Commonwealth. I’m way more concerned that cops are running over unarmed suspects with bulldozers.
Wow – these police definitely lost sight of the actual crime. Killed him and left him there to rot?! How could they do this with a conscience? They all should be in jail. So much for a higher standard for cops. Evidence here shows they can get away with murder. Just like that documentary – the making of a murderer. So, these bad apples are still out there . . . policing?
This horrible event is pretty emblematic of the failed drug policy of the US Government. This guy gets crushed by a bulldozer for…. growing pot plants? Much like sending a crack addict to prison for 10 to 20 years–the punishment does not fit the crime. What a tragic outcome.
