NJM Offers ProPack Commercial Package Policy in More Mid-Atlantic States

NJM Insurance Group is now writing commercial package policies in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania with policy effective dates beginning August 1, 2022. The company began offering the product to New Jersey-based businesses in May.

The NJM ProPack commercial package policy protects mid-to-large-sized businesses against property and liability risks, including crime, inland marine, and industry-specific coverages. The policy’s features include property extension endorsements to better protect real estate, business personal property, and business income; general liability enhancement endorsements for construction, manufacturing, and all other industries; and optional coverages for equipment breakdown, employment practices liability insurance, professional liability, contractors’ errors & omissions, and cyber insurance

In addition, ProPack policyholders who need higher limits of liability protection are eligible to apply for NJM commercial excess and umbrella insurance.

Frederick Mutual Releases Cyber Coverage 2.0

Frederick Mutual Insurance Co. is offering an enhanced cyber security policy for both home and business owners.

The new Home Cyber Protection Program now provides identity recovery coverage for its policyholders. It goes beyond providing insurance by offering professional expert help for policyholders who have been victimized to regain control of their identity and to re-establish their pre-theft credit standing. A licensed investigator is offered to each applicable policyholder, and coverage includes reimbursement for lost wages and mental health counseling. The program also provides affordable protection for losses from computer attacks, cyber extortion, and online fraud.

Frederick Mutual’s CyberSuite Liability offering provides seven coverage components as well as support services to protect insureds from a variety of cyber exposures. The coverage components include data compromise response expenses, coverage for computer attacks, cyber extortion, data compromise liability, network security liability, electronic media liability and identity recovery.

Frederick Mutual serves policyholders in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, D.C., North Carolina and South Carolina.
