Catlin Group Limited has expanded its Australian operations with the opening of a second office in Melbourne in addition to the head office in Sydney.
Catlin appointed Rory Morison to head the new operation He has relocated to Melbourne from Catlin’s London office where he was a Casualty Underwriter.
The Melbourne-based team will “initially specialize in General Liability and General Aviation insurance, as well as acting as a contact point for the other classes of business Catlin currently underwrites in Australia from its existing office in Sydney,” said the bulletin.
Catlin Australia is part of the Catlin Group’s Asia-Pacific underwriting hub.
