Because they are British? No, these coments were made because BP and Hayward have proven to be liars that dont give a rats a$$ about trying to get on top of this disaster.

Mr. Napier, you are a disgrace to Commercial Insurance underwriters. We believe in Proactive rather than Reactive. BP has scientist, Personnel with PhD and yet they failed to underwrite the risks involved in digging for oil at such depths. Did they consider the Worse case scenario? I’m sure they did but ignored it because of GREED. You know what I mean, don’t you? Shame on you and BP.

It appears that they have something in common with our President.

I would watch my step if I were Mr Napier meaning what I say & how I say it )
He should understand that a lot of us Americans believe that if this spill happened in the English Channel…it would’ve been stopped & cleaned up post haste.
The Brits OWE the American Nation BIG TIME
And yes: we don’t give a fat rats $$S what happens to BP …AFTER they’ve PAID for the damage & collateral damage they’ve caused….it all goes into the payout !
And the International Maritime Commission and/or all governing oceanic bodies NEED to convene a conference for new LAWS outlawing underwater drilling below 400 ft

The British Ambassador Sir Paul McCartney showed so much class while in the US with his library book remark aimed at GW.

    Way-to-go, Mr Churchill!
We in the States don’t care if the payouts cause BP to go bankrupt.
We’ve already seen LOTS of big companies go belly-up.
And if BP does, they DESERVE it for what they did & what they’re not doing

If BP had tried to stop the leak instead of trying to contain it so they could still get the oil this would be a different story. Maybe if BP and it’s CEO hadn’t made comments upsetting to those who are losing their ability to work this would be a different story. Greed is what this is about. I too feel the British owe the USA quite a lot.

Does Mr. Napier really want to get in bed with and embrace that BP tar baby?

I really wish I could write to the defence of our president here, but when I consider his obstruction or refusal to waive the Jones Act to permit operation of foreign flagged ships to assist the mitigation efforts, creation of the coastal sand birms, and the deployment of miles of containment booms from Maine, I can only conclude:
    a. He wants this crisis to promote his own agenda,
    b. If millions of white people are hurt, that’s an acceptable loss,
    c. If a Brittish company can be blamed, that’s a bonus,
    d. More than ever, I want to know; who’s on the other end of his Blackberry.

BHO’s whole career (if you can call it that, what has he done?) has been attacking the “golden goose”. This is no different. he continues to “fundamentally change America” and the sheep keep moving into the pen.
If BP could do anything more to mitigate the spill, they would.
Blame the tree huggers made drilling in deep water necessary when there’s plenty of places to drill safely.
BTW tankers have worse record for spills historically.

Let me guess, head in the sand, ignorant, easily duped? Progressive perhaps? History has shown that when Progressives are identified and properly handled society prospers.
