The entire business interruption clause is VERY clear on the 5 things that need to happen to “trigger” coverage. There is no way to interpret this in any other way without re-writing the coverage.

“As a consequence, the report comes to the conclusion that public-private solutions will be needed to close the protection gap for the business interruption aspect of pandemic risk, which is ‘uninsurable.'”

Instead, how about politicians shut up and mind their own business? This mess was caused not by the virus but by the crazy political overreaction to the virus. It is astounding how mini-tyrants came out of the woodwork everywhere, barking orders, whipping up hysteria, and wrecking people’s lives. No matter what the problem, they always make it worse.

“Crazy political overreaction” to a virus that has killed 230,000+ Americans in less than 9 months? Is it possible to overreact to something like that?
