Illinois Reps. Karen Yarborough (D-Maywood) and John Millner (R-St. Charles) are holding two hearings to give agents and the public a forum to discuss the effectiveness of the state’s mandatory insurance laws.
Newly appointed Insurance Director J. Anthony Clark has been invited to the hearings, which will offer the opportunity to provide suggestions on improving compliance with the law.
The first hearing is scheduled for June 26, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Chicago at the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., Conference Room 9-040.
The second hearing will take place July 16, 10 a.m. to noon, in Rockford at the E.J. “Zeke” Giorgi Auditorium, 200 S. Wyman.
