If you can legally smoke cigarettes then it is none of their business if I drink raw milk in any form!

So are you doing so at your own risk or can the farmer be liable when you get sick?

Product could be sold if it is clearly marked “raw milk” a warning would have to attached that it needs to be used up quicker than mild someone buys at a store (handling instructions). Farmer is liable if consumer gets sick — that is the way the cookie crumbles. So the Farmer is taking a chance that the consumer doesn’t handle it properly, gets sick and blames the farmer. BUT… if the state says “no” to raw milk – then work to change the law, don’t break the law.

“We have sold to neighbors for years till the lawsuits and all of that started,” From where I sit, this phrase means the farmer made money selling a product and his insurance company had to hire the attorneys to defend the “lawsuits” and possibly pay judgements. Exclude Raw Milk from the products liability and the problem will be solved. Drink raw milk at your own risk.. simple!
