    It’s fantastic to see this case succeed, however the appeal could make all the difference. We’ve been fighting this case in the UK since the late 90’s, however government funding and European law has stopped this from happening. In every situation where a drug is the cause of a childs disability the drug company should be held responsible for what their drug has caused, especially if they have with held on the warnings…. you’d think these drug companies would learn from the amount of money they pay out, all they have to do is prewarn the patient, however that would cost them to considering the make millions on Depakote each year..!

    THIS JUST DO SENT AFFECT WOMEN AND BIRTH DEFECTS.. MY HUSBAND WAS PUT ON THIS DEADLY DRUG FOR 10 YEARS AND HE WAS DIANOSED WITH PANCREATITS!!! SO NO ITS NOT JUST WOMEN AND CHILDREN.. HE HAS SUFFERED TOO LONG, DELINEATING ON GOING PAIN AND TRANSPLANT SOMEWHERE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.. I WILL FIGHT THIS FOR HIM AND I WONT GIVE UP!!!! THIS IS INCLUDED IN HIS MEDICAL RECORDS.. WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE THAT YOU LOVE SUFFER 24/7 AND ATTACKS AFTER ATTACKS NO I WONT GIVE UP!!!

    I used to take the medication to treat depression. The doctor gave it to me in sample packs. Later in life I learned how and why doctors push certain drugs on people. I started to have pain and yellow color to my eyes so I stopped taking it. I have not had any long term effect from it. As Amy said it was not just women and children it was everyone who was prescribed this.
